As summer 2024 draws near, Rise is excitedly preparing for its Summer Academic Enrichment Program. This program presents a unique opportunity for parents to engage their children in academic growth alongside the joy of summer leisure activities and beach excursions.
Program Schedule: July 1st to August 9th.
Location: Perry L. Drew School, 70 Twin Rivers Drive N, East Windsor, NJ
Time: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Eligible Ages: 5-17
Tuition: Sliding scale based on family income
Meals: Free breakfast and lunch provided from Monday to Thursday
At Rise Summer Camp, students will have the chance to enhance their skills in math, reading, science, art, and language arts, alongside improving social interactions. Post-breakfast, children start their day in homeroom, followed by a series of academic sessions led by NJ Certified Teachers. These sessions are creatively tailored to spark students’ imagination while bolstering fundamental skills, incorporating the Hightstown/East Windsor curriculum to ensure all summer reading and book reports are completed, making students fully prepared for the new school year.
Post-lunch, children can join various clubs according to their interests, including the Stem Club, Physical Fitness Club, Muralist Club, Installation Art Club, Dance Club, Entrepreneur Club, Love Ambassadors Club, and Healthy Lifestyle Club.
The afternoons, from Monday to Thursday, are enriched with visits from special guests like firefighters and local dignitaries, along with other hands-on learning experiences.
Moreover, counselors guide students in planning and practicing for a talent show scheduled for the camp’s final week, in addition to overseeing games and educational activities. By day’s end, campers are enriched with two nutritious meals and a comprehensive experience of learning and fun.
The camp concludes with a family picnic on the last day, celebrating the achievements of our campers in the presence of staff, families, sponsors, and participants.
For registration, please bring all necessary documents. All forms must be fully completed and signed, and tuition fees settled in full, unless a payment plan has been arranged. For more information on payment plans, consult with a case manager.
