2022 Rise Toy Drive

We would like to take a moment to thank ALL of our amazing donors and volunteers who made this past Saturday’s Holiday Gift event a success!

We had a great time putting smiles on the faces of more than 1,000 local children, many coming from Better Beginnings and Headstart, and their parents and guardians! We could not possibly have done this without your support, and the support of all of the amazing organizations and individual volunteers who came out on Saturday to help us hand out everything from gifts to hygiene kits, pajamas and socks, warm blankets, stuffed animals and so much more!

Santa and a few of his elves even made an appearance to help us greet the families and hand out the toys! This is what this season is all about, and we are so proud of the work that our staff, volunteers, and partners have done to make sure that everyone in our community is able to have a bright and cheerful holiday season filled with warmth, kindness, and generosity!

It’s not too late to brighten someone’s holiday season this year! We are still collecting donations of generic toys, gift cards, and monetary donations to fill last minute wishes.

Fill the exact holiday gift wish of a child or struggling family. That single, specially chosen gift lets them know that someone in the community is thinking of them.

For those who have sponsored a child – Please drop off Holiday Gifts at the First United Methodist Church located at 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ – Drop off dates and time: December 5th to December 8th, 8:30am to 8:00pm.

In 2021, community members provided over 1137 gifts to local children.  For our local families in need often there isn’t enough money to spend on gifts.  With your support, our community’s children will be able to celebrate a fulfilling and memorable holiday in 2022.

The holidays are synonymous with toys. It is a joyous time for most. But, for struggling families it is a time of stress and anxiety. Parents barely getting by still want their children to experience the joy and excitement of receiving the toys of their dreams. Thankfully, holiday toy drives help fill the need.
