uRise English language Learners

The ELLs on the Rise Program is divided into nine sections of English, with courses in Basic English, English 1, and English 2. The students were diligent and enthusiastic and learned a great deal about language and culture. The dedicated teachers, Donna Gil, Gay Egan, Gail Zelenak, and Carmen Kennedy, are very proud of their efforts. We extend our thanks to the wonderful classroom assistants Lynn Grodnick, Patty Hunt, and Jasmeet Singh, who also contributed to the success of our program.

The courses are offered in 10-week trimesters, fall, winter, and spring. Therefore, a complete course would be 30 weeks.
